Have you ever wanted to volunteer your knowledge, skills, and expertise to help others accomplish their goals? I know that I have wanted to do just that but haven’t always had the time or even the resources to make it possible. Well, fortunately, the ever-expanding web provides us with a new tool that enables us to do volunteer work at our fingertips, right on our computers or mobile devices!
Sparked is an application that connects non-profits that are in need of help with busy people like you and me who have some time to spare, ranging from a couple of minutes to a couple of hours. It's a new generation of volunteerism called microvolunteering. And like microblogging (think Twitter), the concept involves doing a little at a time. It is part of an effort by its founders to harness the potential we all have to make social change for the greater good through our time spent online.

So, the next time you go to log into your favorite social networking site like Facebook or Twitter, or decide to watch a YouTube video, consider opening your Sparked account! Imagine the impact you can have on the world by helping an organization in need for minutes of your time (disclaimer: permission to perform your challenge can take days to receive).
Oh and by the way,
Sparked makes it easy for corporations to start online employee-volunteering programs with
